Elvis 8th Degree Gold Card
On Sept 5, 1974, Ed Parker, founder of the International Kenpo Karate Association (IKKA), promoted Elvis to 8th degree black belt. To commemorate this occasion, Elvis was presented with a gold ID card stating that he was a member of the IKKA and entitled to the rank of 8th Associate Master of the Arts (AMA).
Elvis loved this card and carried it with him everywhere he went, proudly showing it off to everyone. He was so proud of his achievement that he asked me to have copies made so that that they could be given out as mementos to his friends and associates.
