“You may not be able to completely avoid a violent assault, but you certainly can alter the outcome. You don’t have to be a victim, you have a choice.”

Dave has been a martial artist and self-defense instructor since 1959. During all of this time he has helped, in one way or another, over 50,000 men, women and children learn how to defend themselves against violent physical assaults.

“The self-defense class taught by Dave Hebler was very informative and insightful. It gave me the tools to help me from becoming a victim. I am going home and going to help teach my 10 year old daughter the tools to make sure that she never becomes a victim.”

Dave with Michael Miller, an international martial arts instructor and self-defense expert. Michael is also the co-author on The Elvis Experience.

“I thought that it was very positive. As a woman in business, traveling quite a bit, it gave me the confidence of having a few tools to protect myself in unexpected situations.”

“I feel that all women should have the education to be able to protect themselves and others. Every girl/woman should take this class. It teaches you a lot.”

“I came here today having no clue how to defend myself. I really appreciate Dave taking the time to show us how we can be saved. Especially because I could be the one!”

Dave’s workshop training programs teach teens and youths of all ages the type of self-defense that can be relied on.

“This program gives a new insight of how you can protect yourself and not be helpless and powerless. It gives you the ability to learn and practice the feel of weapons you have (hands, feet, elbows).”

“When I came to this training program, I did not know what or how to do anything. I learned so much. I learned to protect myself in a horrible situation.”

Dave travels around the world giving Kenpo workshops. Here he is after training with students in Argentina.

Dave is not only trained to teach adults, but also thoroughly enjoys teaching and training the youth of today.

A student being promoted to sixth degree black belt in Kenpo.

A proud moment of accomplishment!

“Power is a characteristic that everyone should have.”

Kenpo not only teaches self-defense, but is also a great community.

“We should always feel safe and know that no matter what, we can defend ourselves, we can fight back, we can survive. I don’t have to be a victim. I need and will make my attacker one! I have the power.”

Dave is always ready and engaged in lecturing a group of students in the art of Kenpo karate.
